University with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in January 2022. Since then, I have worked with a variety of ages ranging from age 5 to emerging adults. I have experience working with and advocating for LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, high-risk symptoms, grief, and more. I believe in health at every size and enjoy helping clients find ways to nourish and move their bodies that feel authentic to them.
I believe strongly in the therapeutic alliance, the power of validation and compassion, meeting clients where they’re at, and each individual’s tendency toward self-actualization. I aim to foster creativity, authenticity, and transparency within the therapeutic alliance. I use a combination of therapeutic approaches allowing me to tailor treatment to the individual in front of me. I assist my clients in learning to listen to the signals from their bodies and use this information to interpret and voice their needs. I curate the therapeutic space to be dynamic and capable of changing to meet each individual's needs. I am committed to life-long learning and striving for cultural humility and aim to reflect this with my work.
Outside of the therapeutic space I enjoy spending time in nature with my husband and my dog. I consider myself a creative problem-solver and am often engrossed in craft projects.
