About Ellis Armond
Ellis is a board-certified physician assistant who earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Mississippi State University. Born and raised in Mississippi, Ellis earned a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree in Biomedical sciences from the University of Mississippi.
Ellis gained valuable experience as a pediatric emergency room technician before PA school, where she was a part of the care team for pediatric patients with mental health and substance use disorders. During her psychiatry clinical rotation in PA school, Ellis developed even more knowledge on managing and treating adults and geriatric patients. Her clinical interests include ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, and medication management.
In her free time, Ellis enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling and exploring the outdoors. Ellis aims to build a supportive and trusting relationship with her patients to enhance their overall mental health and well-being.
