Julio earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Education in Mental Health
Counseling from North Carolina State University. He is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). His therapeutic
approach is eclectic, incorporating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral
therapy (TF-CBT), strength-based methods, cognitive behavioral techniques, motivational interviewing, and
solution-focused strategies. He personalizes his approach to align with each client’s unique experiences and goals.
Julio values the therapeutic partnership and is committed to collaborating with clients to foster growth and
problem-solving. He emphasizes empathy and genuineness in his practice, aiming to meet clients where they are in
their journey. He believes that clients are the experts in their own lives, and he is dedicated to exploring and learning
