About Tryphene Dewanou
Tryphene Dewanou is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbia International University. She has experience working with children, individuals, and families in both school and office settings.
Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, ADHD, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She uses a systemic, person-centered, and emotionally focused approach. She also integrates additional modalities based on each client’s needs.
To support meaningful change, Tryphene incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She creates a safe, collaborative space where clients feel supported and empowered. She also helps clients recognize and build on strengths they may not yet see in themselves.
Outside of work, Tryphene enjoys walking, cooking, playing pickleball, swimming, and exploring new places.
