IT Systems Administrator I

Apogee Behavioral Medicine is a rapidly growing outpatient behavioral medicine practice with multiple locations in North Carolina and Tennessee. We provide high-quality, evidence-based, and compassionate care to patients. As an IT Systems Administrator I, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure and applications. You will also play a vital role in protecting the privacy and security of our patient data.

Collaborates with: Chief Medical Officer, Senior Director of Therapy Services

Responsibilities

  • Ordering and setting up IT hardware for new offices and new hires

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining software applications and systems used by the practice.

  • Acting as a liaison for software/hardware related inquiries, including managing all software accounts.

  • Serving as the point person for IT project management

  • Creating accounts and profiles for new hires

  • Managing existing account renewals and contract expenses

  • Conducting technical and application training for staff members.

  • Providing help desk support with near real-time response

  • Managing internet service and hardware, including it's on-boarding, retirement, and relocation of equipment

  • Managing electronic medical record documentation templates

  • Ensuring the security and integrity of patient data.

  • Facilitating the procurement of data for reporting

  • Staying up-to-date with advancements in technology and recommending upgrades or changes as needed.

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the practice's IT systems.

  • Participating in the creation of IT policies and procedures, including M365 services

  • Travel between offices as needed

  • Manage and maintain M365 backups and disaster recovery solutions.

M365 Suite including Microsoft Entra ID, Enterprise Apps, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, Exchange Online, Intune + MDM, Security & Compliance, SharePoint, Powerautomate, Teams Phones CQ/AA, eDiscovery, OneDrive for Business.

Qualifications

  • A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • Experience with healthcare IT systems and software.

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong understanding of networking and security principles, including firewalls, VPNs, and network protocols.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments.

  • Familiarity with our existing platforms: DOMO, SQL, Python, Excel, M365 Suite, ticketing systems, Salesforce, VoIP
