Lindsey Ahearn, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She has a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care to both pediatric and adult populations. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University, where she further developed her commitment to psychiatry. Lindsey was recognized among the top 10% of her class for clinical and procedural skills. Prior to becoming a PA, Lindsey worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an adult care home, an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for empathetic, relationship-driven care.
Lindsey is especially passionate about trauma-informed. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare journey. She strives to foster open, judgment-free conversations. Lindsey is dedicated to providing inclusive care for individuals of all backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, trust, and helping patients work toward meaningful, sustainable improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Lindsey grew up outside of Atlanta, Georgia. She has called Hendersonville, North Carolina home for the past several years. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring the Asheville area. She also loves spending time with her dog, Emma Plateosaurus Rex, and her cat, Chili Pepper Aquilops Rex, who keep life entertaining and full of personality.
