My name is Layla Mueller, and I am a board-certified Physician Assistant. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a Pre-Medicine concentration and a minor in Spanish before completing my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I am passionate about helping individuals achieve improved mental wellness and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and medication management. My clinical interests include the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
It is important to me that my patients feel heard and respected and that they have a safe environment in which to navigate challenges and achieve improved mental wellness. I recognize that no two patients are the same and understand the importance of individualized care. My goal is to collaborate with patients to develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. I believe that helping patients understand the role of medication in mental healthcare and the treatment options available empowers them to actively participate in developing a treatment plan that aligns with their unique needs, values, and goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy rock climbing, photography, painting, traveling, and spending time with my husband and dog.
