About Sydney Vaughn
Sydney Vaughn is a certified physician assistant with a passion for mental health and behavioral medicine. Raised in Clemmons, North Carolina, she has deep roots in the Winston-Salem area. Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Appalachian State University in 2020. Following her undergraduate studies, she gained valuable clinical experience at a local OBGYN office.
In 2022, Sydney began her studies in physician assistant school, graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in May 2024. During her training, she discovered her passion for behavioral health, driven by her empathy and commitment to ensuring everyone has access to compassionate mental health care.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Sydney enjoys reading, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and exploring new places with her three-year-old chocolate lab.
