My name is Kaitlyn Jeffers, and I’m a board certified Physician Assistant. Prior to PA school, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy, as well as a Master of Science in Premedicine. During my academic career, I developed an interest in exploring existential questions that many people ask themselves throughout their lifetime. What does it mean to live a good life? What is my purpose, and who decides that? I don’t claim to have the answers to some of life’s greatest mysteries, but my background in philosophy plays a role in my approach to behavioral health. I believe in meeting you where you are and incorporating that information into treatment plans that are sustainable for you and your lifestyle.
I enjoy working with both adults and adolescents for a wide range of psychiatric concerns and conditions. I am especially passionate about treating clients with substance use disorders, advocating for those who are chronically ill or disabled, and providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals. Through shared decision-making, education, and open communication, I strive to help clients feel empowered about their own care.
In my free time, I like to play board games and video games, write poetry, and spend time with loved ones. I also enjoy traveling, whether that is in person, or vicariously through the postcards I send to pen pals across the world.
