Kristin is a North Carolina native with Appalachian roots. She enjoys collecting unique snail shells, finding salamanders, or hunting for a rare blue crawl fish. She was blessed with growing up in Asheville but attended Graduate School in New England (Maine). New England encouraged growth and interest in having a greater appreciation of various cultures and the beauty of different landscapes.
After completing her formal education she sought further experience in service to others by joining Americorps VISTA. Culture shock and joy was found in the Mojave Desert. This was followed by a renewed sense to be near family and a return to Appalachia.
Returning to WNC led to exploration of East TN and a deeper commitment to psychotherapy. Kristin has worked in Clinical Social Work for nearly 20 years. Hurricane Helene washed her to the Foothills which has led to a deeper calling to serve those in this region.
Kristin is married, a parent, faith based, multi pet owner, and solution focused.
