My name is Alison Roy and I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, where I completed my Master’s of Science in Counseling. I have always had a passion for helping others and being an empathetic presence for those who are struggling. My primary experience is in working with adolescents and children, but I am more than open to seeing those outside of this age range.
I have a special interest in Internal Family Systems, which involves getting to know the isolated and fragmented parts of ourselves. Once we can see and acknowledge all the parts we have within us, true healing can take place. I am passionate about helping clients reconnect with their core selves, which allows compassion, creativity, and confidence to shine through.
Outside of being a therapist, I am a lover of my cat and the outdoors. I also love playing the piano and singing.
