About Kendra Frazier
Kendra is a native of the western North Carolina area. She is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University.
Kendra practiced as an RN for 10 years, holding clinical and administrative positions before obtaining her NP license. With training in treating patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan, her clinical practice focuses on consultation, treatment selection, and care coordination. She combines cognitive-behavioral therapy and evidence-based patient-centered practices for individuals experiencing various forms of mental health concerns.
She is passionate about reducing the social stigmas surrounding mental illness. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, the North Carolina Nursing Association, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association. Outside of work, Kendra enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
