Hi, I’m Emily Leavitt. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with a passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenging and transformative experiences. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Maine.
My clinical background includes working as a therapist in a residential treatment facility for adolescents, where I provided care in both Crisis Stabilization and long-term treatment programs. This experience has given me a strong foundation in working with complex emotional and behavioral needs, as well as supporting clients through periods of acute distress and ongoing healing.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities. I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, helping you build coping skills, process past experiences, and develop a stronger sense of self. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward healing and empowerment.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, and spending time outside.
