About Sarah Shine
Hi there! I’m Sarah, an associate-level therapist dedicated to supporting people through meaningful growth and change no matter where they are in life. I recognize the courage it takes to seek support and strive to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental. My approach is eclectic and rooted in relational, humanistic, strengths-based, and holistic therapies. With five years of experience working alongside individuals navigating substance use and severe mental health challenges, I’ve learned that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. I value adaptability and work collaboratively to tailor our time together to your unique needs and goals.
Therapy, at its core, is a partnership. I bring a blend of professional training and compassion, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Nonviolent Communication, all through a trauma-informed lens.
I see awareness and knowledge as essential starting points for change. While I bring clinical tools and insight, you bring the expertise of your own lived experience. Together, we’ll navigate the path toward greater self-compassion, clarity, and growth.
