About Sarah Clay
Sarah Clay is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate. She has both a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and other concerns.
Sarah is committed to creating a safe space for clients of any identity. She strives to meet clients where they are at, and recognize them as the experts in their lives. Sarah practices person centered therapy and incorporates various approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness based therapy, strengths perspective, and motivational interviewing.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys trying new crafts, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends.
