About Ruby Osorio
Ruby Osorio is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies in 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Ruby takes a compassionate, collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered, Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and experiential techniques. Her work emphasizes self-advocacy, personal growth, and practical tools through psychoeducation to help clients better understand themselves and navigate life’s challenges.
As a North Carolina native and second-generation immigrant, Ruby values cultural awareness and strives to provide an inclusive, affirming environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Outside of the therapy room, Ruby enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, reading, and listening to audiobooks. She also incorporates mindfulness practices such as yoga and meditation into her daily life. She values meaningful connections with loved ones and her pet, and brings that same sense of intention and care into her work with clients.
