About Miranda Harris
Dr. Miranda Harris is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is originally from Augusta, Georgia. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia.
Dr. Harris completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She also completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the same institution. During her fellowship, she served as chief resident.
She provides compassionate, relatable, and high-quality psychiatric care to children and families living with mental health conditions. She has a strong interest in treating PTSD and complex trauma. Over the course of her career, she has worked in inpatient units and residential care settings, supporting families in crisis.
Dr. Harris uses a patient-centered approach to care. She partners with patients and families through shared decision-making to develop thoughtful and effective treatment plans.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
