About Elise Coffman
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina, and I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults throughout the lifespan. Additionally, I feel honored to have the opportunity to provide a safe space for each client to discuss and work through various life transitions and challenges such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship concerns, ADHD, grief, and trauma. I operate from a Person-Centered/Collaborative approach, as I strongly believe that you are the expert of your own life, and I will work alongside you throughout the counseling process. Depending on the needs and preferences of my clients, I also integrate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Existentialism approaches.
In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my dog.
