About Daniela Marques
I am a dedicated and board-certified Physician Assistant with four years of experience in Internal Medicine and two years of focused practice in psychiatry. My transition into mental health care was guided by a deep desire to create space for patients to feel heard, supported, and understood during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to treatment, recognizing that each person’s story is unique. I believe mental health is deeply connected to many aspects of life — including physical health conditions, chronic pain, stress, life transitions, trauma, and socioeconomic pressures. Drawing from my background in Internal Medicine, I thoughtfully integrate medical insight into psychiatric care so that treatment feels comprehensive and grounded in the full context of each individual’s experience.
I strive to build meaningful therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and open communication. My goal is to help patients feel empowered and actively involved in their care while we work together to develop practical, sustainable strategies that support long-term emotional wellbeing.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy long walks with my dog, traveling to new places, and spending quality time with my husband and family.
