About Christien Armour
I am an Associate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC-A) and Associate Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS-A). Since 2020, I have worked with adults, 18 and older, navigating stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, women’s issues, mood disorders, substance misuse, dual diagnoses, and other mental health challenges. My background includes supporting clients in community mental health, private practice, telehealth, and 28-day residential treatment settings. I’ve also had the privilege of working with At-Risk and underserved populations.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing outside of real conversation, strategic tools, and support that fits the client. I draw from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused techniques, but I always start by listening. I strive to create a space that feels safe, inclusive, and deeply human where the client can feel both seen and heard. We laugh when we can, sit in the hard stuff when we need to, and move at a pace that honors where the client has been and where they want to go.
Outside of work, I’m a lover of beaches/water, big dogs, bigger laughs, good food, shoes, and great music.
