Position Overview:
The Part-Time Clinical Supervisor plays a key role in supporting provisionally licensed clinicians as they work toward independent licensure. This role focuses exclusively on providing clinical supervision — there is no independent patient caseload requirement.
You will supervise associate-level therapists (LCSWA, LCMHCA, LMFTA, etc.) through structured weekly sessions, ensuring their clinical growth and compliance with board expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to associate-level therapists in accordance with NC licensing board requirements.
- Conduct one hour of supervision per week per full-time supervisee (or proportional based on caseload).
- Support clinical skill development, case conceptualization, documentation standards, and ethical decision making.
- Maintain accurate logs and supervision tracking required by licensing boards.
- Complete supervision contracts and required documentation for each supervisee.
- Communicate professionally and collaboratively with the internal clinical leadership team when needed.
- Adhere to Apogee Behavioral Medicine policies, ethical codes, and compliance requirements including HIPAA.
- Participate in orientation and required internal meetings (as applicable).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· Active, unrestricted license as an LCSW or LCMHC-S in the state where services are delivered.
· Must meet NC licensing board criteria to supervise associate-level therapists
· Experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient setting
· Strong knowledge of documentation standards, ethics, and clinical best practices
· Excellent communication and mentorship skills
· Ability to maintain accurate supervision documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
· At least 2+ years fully licensed post-licensure experience
· Previous supervision experience
· Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
· Experience working with diverse populations and treatment modalities
Schedule:
· Part-time, flexible scheduling
· Weekly supervision meetings coordinated between supervisor and supervisee
· Hybrid model depending on needs (remote + occasional in-office as required)
Compensation & Benefits:
· $35,000 annual salary for supervision of up to 10 associate-level therapists
· Professional liability insurance provided for services performed under ABM
