About Jada Williams
Hey there! My name is Jada Williams, and I am so excited to meet you all. I am a fully licensed clinical counselor, LCMHC, and currently in school to become an ASL interpreter. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology for UNC-Greensboro and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University.
I have around 4 years of counseling experience working a lot with children, adolescents, teens and young adults. I am a rostered trauma-focused cognitive behavioral (TF-CBT) therapist who loves working with children, and adults, who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I have experience working with depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, bipolar I & I, and grief.
I believe that every person is different, even if they have similar diagnoses. I take an individualized approach to therapy to ensure that everyone reaches their goals the best way they can. I will take a solution focused approach while meeting my client’s where they are. I will never be the therapist to tell you what to do or what is ‘wrong’ with you. Everyone has the answers to their problems inside them, I am just here to guide you to that.
In my free time, I love to bake, binge watch TV, hike and spend time with my loved ones.
