About Nikisha Mock

Nikisha Mock, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of behavioral health settings. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina A&T State University and her Master of Social Work from Winthrop University. Her professional experience includes outpatient and community-based mental health services, crisis assessment and intervention, substance use treatment, care coordination, and work with individuals and families navigating complex psychosocial needs.

Nikisha brings a warm, person-centered, and strengths-based approach to therapy, with particular interests in working with children and families, individuals experiencing substance use concerns, and clients navigating life transitions, emotional and behavioral challenges, and periods of crisis. She believes therapy should be a collaborative and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves while developing practical tools for meaningful change.

As a clinician, Nikisha values meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths, build resilience, and move toward goals that are meaningful to them. She strives to create an environment that balances compassion and authenticity with accountability, empowering clients to feel supported while actively participating in their own growth and healing.

Outside of her professional life, Nikisha is a proud mother of two children and devoted fur mom to her precious pup, Zuri. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new places, listening to music, dancing, and spending quality time with family and friends. Most recently, she has discovered a love for gardening and enjoys the simple reward of watching something she has planted grow—although she admits she is still learning along the way! Nikisha values laughter, meaningful connections, new experiences, and finding joy in both the big adventures and everyday moments.
