Hi! My name is Kelli Jordan, and I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2025. I am currently licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate. My professional background includes providing therapy in school-based, community mental health, and private practice settings with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, substance use and recovery, life transitions, and identity development. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as with individuals impacted by trauma and substance use. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, person-centered, and based in curiosity, empathy, and compassion for each client’s individual experiences.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and supported in showing up as their full selves. I view the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of healing and growth. My goal is to create space where clients can build insight, self-compassion, and move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.
I often integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, DBT-informed skills, Child Centered Play Therapy, Internal Family Systems-informed work, and Polyvagal-informed care, depending on each client’s needs and goals.
Outside my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my friends, family, and beloved dog, Sassy. I also enjoy spending time in nature, reading, cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway, or listening to podcasts.
