About Kristy Wood
Hi, I’m Kristy. As a therapist, I bring acceptance and empowerment to create a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are. I support clients navigating ambiguous loss, attachment wounds, hyper-independence (from being a parentified child), life transitions, adults considering adoption through foster care, and building healthy relationships.
Let’s be real—putting yourself out there is hard and no one wants to feel vulnerable. But the truth is, finding that balance between boundaries and connection is what allows us to live authentically and fulfill our need for deep, meaningful relationships.
With over 18 years of experience in mental health, I’ve walked alongside many individuals in their healing journeys, offering support tailored to their unique needs. I love providing a space that helps adults and caregivers navigate challenges.
Outside of therapy, you’ll probably find me rewatching a crime or horror show I’ve already seen a hundred times, spending time with my family, walking my dog, or thrifting for hidden gems.
