About Alena Blue
My name is Alena Blue and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Exercise and Sports Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Afterwards, I earned my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health and Addictions Counseling at The College of William and Mary.
My therapeutic approach has a holistic and evidence-based framework, integrating techniques to promote personal growth in all areas and stages of life. My counseling services address concerns or issues including, but not limited to; depression, substance use and addiction, self-injurious behavior and suicidal ideation, anxiety, body image challenges, developmental and life transitions, as well as family concerns such as conflict resolution, boundary setting, attachment, and communication challenges. I work with individuals aged 10 years and older.
In my free time, I am an avid reader and traveler. I also enjoy working out, baking, crafting, and playing with my cats!
