About Emily Kirker

Emily is an associate licensed clinical social worker. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Valdosta State University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Central Florida. She has extensive professional experience in community mental health and social services. She also has clinical experience providing mental health counseling at a university.

In her practice, Emily is strengths-based, person-centered, and views therapy as a partnership. She has experience working with clients living with anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. She also has experience assisting clients with anger management, stress, and adjustment to life changes. She has experience working with clients of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities and is committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care.

In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, reading, coloring, and cooking.
