About Julee Mae Anderson

Julee Mae is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) who brings years of experience to her work with children, adolescents, and young adults. Julee Mae is here to help with a wide range of services tailored to your needs. No matter what challenges you might be facing—whether it’s anxiety, stress management, depression, self-esteem, relational challenges, transitional changes, behavioral issues, developmental disorders, postpartum experiences, relationship struggles, and more—Julee Mae is here to support you every step of the way on your journey.

Julee Mae earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She truly enjoys supporting children, teens, young adults, and their families. Her diverse therapeutic approach brings together many techniques, including person-centered therapy, attachment-based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, strength-based methods, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and motivational interviewing. She uses play therapy and expressive art techniques with children and adolescents when traditional talk therapy poses a challenge. She tailors her approach to connect with each client’s experiences and aspirations.

Julee Mae values the therapeutic partnership and is committed to working with clients to foster their development, address challenges, and move toward self-awareness, growth, transformation, and confidence. She values the importance of empathy and authenticity in her practice and strives to connect with clients no matter where they are in their journey. When she’s not at work, Julee Mae loves cheering on the Vols, going for runs, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
